New Video Project: Mario Maker Tutorials!

I’ve been working on my video editing skills with Adobe Premier, and this is a result of that learning. Is it geeky? Sure! Is it good? Hopefully! Feedback is, of course, welcome. Even if you’re not a gamer, tell me what you liked and what you didn’t like.

Matthew Estes

Matthew Estes currently exists in the ether between graudate student and full-time worker. One day he hopes to be a full-time novelist and blogger, but until that day comes he spends his time playing video games, eating pizza, and being with his soon-to-be wife. However, he has yet to do all three at the same time. Bucket list stuff, you know.

  1. Nice video editing. With constructive criticism in mind may I suggest that 10 minutes is a little long for the amount of content. Maybe shorter videos would be easier to edit and mean your turnover could increase thereby keeping your audience fed without them having to wait a long time for the next tutorial. The voice-over was clear and eloquent but I felt that it could have been a little more upbeat and enthusiastic rather than didactic in tone. These are just my opinions and I hope you take them in the spirit they are given. I do agree wholeheartedly that limitations engender creativity.
