QOTD #11: Getting Crushed

Question of the Day: Do you still know/talk to your very first crush?

My answer: Yes, I still know my first crush, but I’m not at liberty to reveal the identity of this individual. That said, I haven’t spoken to her in several years. I will say that of all my Facebook friends my age, she is by far the most successful.

However, I would not trade my fiancee for anyone, anywhere, ever.

What is the QOTD? Each morning, I post a brand new question for you all to consider.

Blogs need to be more than just a place for one person to write a bunch of random stuff. They need to be a community, where the audience is free to discuss an array of different topics. You can only do so much in the comment section of even the most well-constructed blog post.

So, you’ve got options! You can simply respond to this topic in the comments.
OR
You can write your own blog post using this topic! If you include the URL to this post in the article, it will magically appear in this post’s comment section as a pingback.

Matthew Estes

Matthew Estes currently exists in the ether between graudate student and full-time worker. One day he hopes to be a full-time novelist and blogger, but until that day comes he spends his time playing video games, eating pizza, and being with his soon-to-be wife. However, he has yet to do all three at the same time. Bucket list stuff, you know.

  1. I actually still know my first crush. She’s suffering from bipolar disorder now and had married and divorced a friend of mine from high school. She was really sexy, we were 9 years old when we first met and I really fancied her a lot. And she me. But my family moved from the area when I was 16 and we lost contact until about 10 yrs ago. But that was after about 40 yrs apart. So that’s life.

  2. My first crush was in grade school. He was still the one I was after in high school. He is 3 years older than me. He ended up marrying a girl he regretted going out with in high school (he was telling this to a few junior high kids in the computer room!). They have one child together who is autistic (though the girls brother in my class was that way!), Still share posts on facebook with each other today!
